So, yesterday was the big day for Dane and eight other children at Sunrise Preschool. It was the day for the big Graduation Ceremony. You might think it foolish to celebrate the end of the preschool years in such a ceremonial way, but think again!
It is the time when our children leave the safety and comfort of Kindergarten and start regular school. What they've learnt about life in their preschool years has marked them for ever. Which is why I'm more than happy that we chose Sunrise for our son. Because they have given him a base of sharing, caring and loving, that he will always carry with him.
Here are some pictures and a video from the ceremony. The song, which the children are singing in the video, is "Fly like an Eagle". It is their signature song, since the group of older children is called the Eagles. (The little ones are the Pandas).
